Our specialty is cylinder lens fabrication, but keep in mind we also design, develop, and manufacture precision optical systems consisting of multiple elements and housings.   Our customers are the scientific, military and commercial communities.  We have the expertise to engineer efficient and economical systems composed of elements of virtually any form...spherical, cylindrical, conic or aspheric type, .040" to 24" diameters, UV to IR. 

Our lenses are monitored throughout the manufacturing process for quality and adherence to specifications to meet your tight tolerances.  We are totally committed to supporting  our customers optical requirements.  Our staff has many years of experience in research and development and we have devised innovative manufacturing techniques and developed unique fabrication equipment.  

Our  facility is capable of manufacturing prototype lenses as well as volume production quantities.  Our optical shop has a spherical and flat work department  - where shaping, generating, grinding, polishing and edging operations are performed. Another department houses equipment unique to Pacific Coast Optics and is dedicated to fabrication of cylinder lenses. Our thin film department can design and optimize coating to meet your exacting requirements.
